Deacon James (Jim) Kovats was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate on August 31, 2019. He and his wife, Arleen, are blessed with three adult children and six grandchildren who keep their family life joy filled and lively.

Deacon Jim serves the parish while also working as an Operations Manager for his family’s electrical contracting and service company. He has a deep love for sharing the Faith through evangelization and finds great grace in bringing Holy Communion to the Sick, two ministries that continue to shape his vocation and service.

He is grateful for the opportunity to walk with parishioners in faith and looks forward to serving the community wherever God calls him next.
