The primary role of the altar server is to assist the priest/celebrant in the celebration of all liturgies during the mass. Your role, through your actions and conduct, is to bring the assembly to a fuller understanding of the liturgy and a greater love for God.  You have a place of honor at Mass because you assist the priest in many ways and are in the presence of Jesus our king.

Altar Servers serve God on his altar. An underlying goal of this ministry is to expose young men and women to the religious life and ultimately serve as a catalyst for the promotion of religious life.

Prerequisites:

• Open to boys and girls in 4th grade or older and adults.
• Already received First Reconciliation and Holy Communion.
• Ability to arrive at the scheduled Mass at least fifteen minutes before the Mass start time.

Adults are also needed to serve at funerals.
