A Guide to Adoration
First Friday of the month following the
noon Mass at Sacred Heart Church
First Saturday of the month
9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. St. Mary Church
Enter in Silence
Arrive quietly and reverently. Kneel and make the sign of the Cross.
Prepare Your Heart
Say a prayer to open your heart to God, either spontaneously or from a prayer book.
Read and Meditate
Read the day’s Gospel or a reflection. Meditate in silence, listening for God’s guidance.
Write Reflections
Keep a diary of your thoughts and insights to strengthen your spiritual journey.
Pray
Pray the Rosary, Way of the Cross, or other Eucharistic prayers.
Spiritual Communion
If you cannot receive the Eucharist, pray to unite spiritually with Jesus.
Final Prayer
End with a spontaneous prayer or the Divine Praises, blessing God and the saints
