Meet Our Pastor

Fr. Kevin McCaffrey

Fr. Kevin McCaffrey grew up in Cuyahoga Falls in the Cleveland Diocese. After college he worked in banking. A conversion in 1993 radically changed the course of his life. He was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Youngstown on May 25, 2002, by Bishop Thomas Tobin.

Fr. McCaffrey has served at Immaculate Conception in Ravenna; St. Mary in Massillon; Our Lady of Victory in Andover and St. Patrick in Kinsman; SS. Philip & James in Canal Fulton; and since July 2023 as pastor of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque parish in Orwell and Rock Creek.

He considers his priesthood an amazing gift from our loving God. For him, the joys of the priesthood include offering Mass; being the instrument of God’s mercy, forgiveness and healing in Confession; teaching; baptizing; helping people to work through a crisis in their lives; and being a spiritual father.

In every parish where he has served, he has met good and faithful Catholics – the backbone of our Diocese.
